Hi, I'm Auna. I’m a holistic birth doula, follower of Jesus, wife, and mother of four based in Covington, Georgia. I support families within a 65 mile radius with in-person care rooted in faith, truth, and deep trust in the body’s design.
My journey into birth work was shaped by four very different birth experiences. Each one transformed how I see birth and how I serve women today.
At 19, I had my first baby through a standard hospital induction with an epidural. I did what I thought I was supposed to do, but I walked away feeling disconnected and disempowered. My second birth was also an induction, but this time I went without pain medication. It was redemptive in many ways, but something still felt missing.
Everything shifted with my third. It was my first spontaneous, undisturbed birth at a birth center, and it completely changed my perspective. For the first time, I saw what my body was truly capable of. That experience showed me what birth was meant to be: sacred, powerful, and unforced.
My fourth baby was born at home in an unassisted birth. I caught my own baby and delivered my placenta before the midwife arrived. It was the most raw and holy moment of my life. It confirmed what I believe deeply. When we trust in God's design and surrender to the process, birth becomes something to be marveled at, not managed.
These experiences lit a fire in me. I knew I needed to serve women in the way I wish I had been served when I was pregnant for the first time. Today, I walk alongside women as they reclaim trust in their bodies, their choices, and their design.
I believe women deserve to be informed, supported, and empowered throughout pregnancy and birth. It’s an honor to walk alongside families as they enter motherhood with boldness, peace, and the confidence that they were made for this.
I’m also deeply passionate about holistic health. I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease at age seven and spent over a decade on pharmaceuticals. But after years of research, lifestyle changes, nourishing food, and natural remedies, I’ve been able to fully transition off medication and am thriving.
